Iain was happy that he got the chance to take part in National Bookstart Day at Central Library for the third year running. The theme this year was 'At the Seaside' so there were plenty of seaside activities to take part in.

The Bookstart initiative is run by book trust, an independent national charity which encourages people of all ages - especially children - to become interested in books.

The children who attended the event were presented with a treasure chest of books by Iain to help encourage a passion for reading and books.
